Since a significant
percentage of Indian Internet users access the Web at Internet parlours,
Fabmart decided to launch a program that would brand selected parlours
as 'Fab Point' centres. These Fab Points would have a variety of promotional
items on display and would also stock Fab Money, a credit-card alternative,
similar to Spice Currency. This was introduced to overcome the resistance
to using credit cards for online transactions.
'Take The Plunge' was one of the posters we created specifically for display
at these Fab Points. This poster was created with the aim of highlighting
the excitement of shopping at Fabmart, and to present the range of products
available. The strong visual drives home the air of excitement and fun,
while the headline and copy emphasise on the wide range of products available
on the store. The copy also mentions Fab Money as an alternative to credit
cards.
